    Philosophy

Based in science, inspired by innovation.

Most med spas sell treatments and hope they fit. We start with the condition and find the treatment that fits, if one exists. Everything below is how we hold that line.

    01 · Purpose

The industry sells treatments. We treat conditions.

Most med spas are retail businesses in a medical coat. They recommend what is trending or what is profitable, not what the person in the chair needs. Patients cannot tell an indicated treatment from a merely profitable one, and that gap is the reason this clinic exists.

    The standard

Evidence MD gates every treatment behind a diagnosis and a body of clinical evidence, and refuses to sell what won't work.

    02 · The Promise

"If it doesn't work, we don't recommend it."

This is the heart of the clinic. It is an operating rule, not a marketing line, and it only holds if we actually behave this way. It commits us to three things.

    01

    Recommend on evidence

We recommend a treatment only when the evidence supports it for your diagnosis.

    02

    Decline out loud

We decline, and say so plainly, when a treatment is not indicated or is not likely to work.

    03

    Verify the outcome

We measure outcomes and follow up, so "works" is verified, not assumed.

    03 · Where we stand

For people with a real skin, scar, or weight condition who are tired of being sold to, Evidence MD is the physician-owned clinic that treats the condition with evidence-based protocols and stands behind the outcome.

    The standard

Evidence MD gates every treatment behind a diagnosis and a body of clinical evidence, and refuses to sell what won't work.

    04 · The Pillars

Four pillars hold up everything we do.

    Pillar 01

    Doctor-Led

The clinic is physician-owned, and every protocol is physician-designed and physician-accountable. Not "medically supervised" as a compliance footnote. Medicine is the operating model.

    Pillar 02

    Evidence-Based

Protocols are built from clinical literature, not trends, sales targets, or device-rep pitches. If a modality lacks evidence for a condition, it is not offered for that condition.

    Pillar 03

    Disease-Focused

We treat conditions, not a vague notion of glow. Real conditions are treated with protocols, typically several visits and more than one modality, because that is what produces lasting results.

    Pillar 04

    Outcome-Accountable

Outcomes are tracked, and the clinic carries the risk of being wrong. Skin in the game.

    05 · Core Values

How the team behaves when no one is watching.

    01 Evidence over hype

The literature outranks the trend, the rep, and the wishlist.

    02 Diagnosis before treatment

No protocol is recommended before the condition is understood.

    03 Honesty over the sale

We say "this won't work for you" out loud, even when it costs the visit.

    04 Outcomes over revenue

A treatment we did not sell because it was not indicated is a success, not a loss.

    05 Restraint is expertise

Knowing what not to do is as skilled as knowing what to do.

06 Real results take a protocol

Effective care usually combines modalities and unfolds over time, and we set that expectation honestly, up front.

    06 · Proof & Boundaries

What backs the promise, and what we refuse to be.

    Reasons to believe
    • ·Physician ownership and leadership: accountability sits with a doctor, not a sales manager.
    • ·Diagnosis-gated treatment: no protocol is offered before the condition is assessed.
    • ·Protocols from clinical literature: documented, reviewable, updated as evidence evolves.
    • ·Outcome tracking and follow-up: "works" is measured, not assumed.
    • ·The standing guarantee: the clinic carries the risk of being wrong.
    What Evidence MD is not
    • ·Not a retail med spa: no selling treatments that are not indicated, no upselling, no quotas.
    • ·Not trend-led: a modality being popular is not a reason to offer it.
    • ·Not "more is better", or "less is better": the protocol is exactly as long and as broad as the evidence says.
    • ·Not luxury-coded vanity: we sell outcomes and trust, not glamour.
    • ·Not fear-based: no marketing that manufactures insecurity about aging or appearance.
    07 · Manifesto

We think the aesthetics industry has it backwards. It sells treatments and hopes they fit the patient. We start with the patient and find the treatment that fits, if one exists.

We believe a recommendation should be based on evidence, not margin. That a diagnosis should come before a price. That the most valuable thing a clinic can say is sometimes "that won't work for you."

We treat conditions, not trends. We measure outcomes, not just revenue. And we will tell you the truth even when the truth doesn't sell.

If it doesn't work, we don't recommend it.
